The Hot Springs Church Map started as an inventory problem: find every mapped congregation inside city limits, keep the data honest, and make it useful on a shooting day.
What made it stick was the fieldwork layer. Pending, filmed, skipped — those three states turned a pretty map into a production tool. That pattern shows up everywhere we work: the improvement that matters is often the one that tracks the work itself.
We’re still tightening filters, labels, and how per-capita context reads for someone who isn’t a GIS person. The live map remains the source of truth while the documentary moves toward festival premiere.
