The question
How do staff, partners, and the public look at the same capital program — without a map that goes stale the next time funding shifts?
The challenge
Near-term projects lived in layers, tables, and documents that did not stay in sync. People could not find what was programmed, where, or at what cost without already knowing where to look.
The approach
Ocala Marion TIP Atlas puts the program in place. Project location, category, funding, and cost share one public interface — so the map is a view of the records, not a separate poster.
Why it mattered
Trust depends on being able to find the project. When the public view follows the program, amendments and priorities are easier to follow than a binder.
What changed
A living TIP Atlas for Marion County: roadway, safety, bike and ped, aviation, and interchange projects that staff and the public can explore together.
