Turning near-term investments into something partners and the public could follow with confidence.

The question

How do you help people understand what is advancing now — and why it matters to the places they care about?

The challenge

The Tri-Lakes MPO needed a near-term program connecting schedules, funding, and regional priorities. Partners and the public needed to follow what was moving forward without decoding a binder.

The approach

Programming was treated as communication. Schedules, funding, and pathways for change were organized so agencies could track what moved from long-range vision to delivery — and explain it to others.

Why it mattered

Trust erodes when investment decisions feel opaque. When people can see what is programmed and how it relates to regional priorities, public conversation becomes possible.

What changed

Near-term investments became visible: what was programmed, how it was funded, and how it related to the region's longer story.
